Frame & Fork

All Allez models feature an E5 alloy frame and a full FACT carbon fork. The fork is tapered from 1-1/8"– 1-3/8" and has fender eyelets, but no front rack mounts. There are two water bottle mounts on the frame and rear rack/fender mounts.

Axles

12 mm thru axles on all models

Seatpost 

All Allez models use a 27.2 mm seatpost and a 31.8 mm clamp. There are two seatpost lengths depending on the bike size:

  • 300 mm for 44-49 cm  
  • 350 mm for 52-61 cm

Cockpit

31.8 mm shallow drop handlebars and stem

The fork steerer tube requires a maximum of 30 mm of spacers between the stem and headset cover (B in image below), and a maximum of 5 mm spacer above the stem (D in image below). 


Drivetrain

All models are equipped with a double compact crankset and braze-on front derailleur. Bottom bracket width is 68 mm. The rear derailleur hanger is shared for all models, S182600001.

The frame can accommodate maximum front gearing of 52/36.

Brakes

The Allez E5 is equipped with disc brakes with 160 mm 6-bolt rotors. Rotor maximum is 160 mm.
