The goal for the Roval engineering team was simple—the Rapide Cockpit had to be the fastest bar we’ve ever made, with no compromises. It’s aero, light, stiff, and designed with the best riders in the world.
How aero? We shaved four watts off of the two-piece Rapide Bar and Tarmac SL7 Stem.
How light? The Rapide Cockpit is 50 grams lighter (100mm x 420mm) than a two-piece Rapide bar and Tarmac SL7 combo. Made from premium high-modulus carbon fiber to deliver ideal stiffness.
A lightweight, aero, stiff bar is no use if it's the wrong size. We partnered with our Retül fit professionals and the best riders in the world to ensure almost every rider can find their fit, with 15 different stem and bar combos.

Is the GPS mount included?

Are cables integrated (internally routed)?
Yes, for both electronic and mechanical shifting.
What is the stack/stem height?
The stem is 41 mm tall for all sizes.
Is the Rapide cockpit compatible with clip-on aerobars?
No.
What do I need to install the Rapide Cockpit on a Tarmac SL7?
The Rapide Cockpit is compatible with the Tarmac SL7 as is. However, there is a headset transition spacer that is not included with the cockpit that provides a more aerodynamic look. This spacer needs to be ordered separately via an Authorized Specialized Retailer: S232500001 - HDS SUB, ROVAL RAPIDE COCKPIT, HEADSET TRANSITION FOR TARMAC SL7.
