Drivetrain

The Crux is designed for all 1x drivetrains (mechanical, Di2, eTap) and is compatible with electronic 2x drivetrains as well. Generally, a 42t chainring will fit with sufficient clearance; some 44t chainrings will fit with minimal clearance.

*note: AXS 2x cranksets do physically fit with minimal clearance and are safe to run. However, tire clearance on the frame is limited to 42c with this setup due to front derailleur battery/tire interference.

Brakes

The Crux is designed around hydraulic disc brakes, but mechanical disc brakes are also an option.

The Crux frame is compatible with 140 or 160 mm rear rotors and uses the flat-mount standard.  The Crux fork is designed for 160 or 180 mm rotors. It uses the normal flat-mount bracket, which is set in the "low" position for 160 mm rotors.
