The Diverge STR features 30mm of damped rear suspension through the framepost. Each frame is compatible with a range of frameposts that can provide different stiffness for a specified rider weight. Try the adjustments below to increase or decrease the stiffness of your framepost. If you wish for additional compression options, please visit your nearest Authorized Specialized retailer.

Turn the compression adjustment lever on the back of the damper to your desired level.

  • OPEN (A): Allows for most of the force from an event (riding over a bump) to travel directly
into the framepost. It’s the most compliant/smoothest setting.
  • MEDIUM (B): Less travel in the framepost and more force is absorbed by the damper.
  • CLOSED (C): Very little travel in the framepost and more force is absorbed by the damper.
