Globe bikes were designed to fit riders from 4'5" to 6'4". See the instructions below to customize your fit.

Adjust the handlebar height

To adjust the handlebar height, loosen the quill stem bolt (A in image below). Raise or lower the quill stem (B).

Check that the handlebar is perpendicular to the front wheel (C). Use the supplied torque wrench to tighten the quill stem bolt to 20 Nm / 177 in-lbf.

Adjust the handlebar angle

To adjust the handlebar angle (move the handlebars closer or farther away), loosen the faceplate bolts on the stem (A in image below). Rotate the handlebars to the desired angle (B).

Tighten the faceplate bolts in a cross pattern as shown to 10 Nm / 89 in-lbf.

Adjust the saddle height

The Haul LT features a 2-part seatpost to accommodate a wide range of rider heights.

Start by adjusting the upper seatpost height:

  1. Open the lever on the upper seatpost clamp (A in image below)
  2. Raise or lower the saddle to your preferred height (B), then close the clamp to lock the seatpost in place
  3. Open the lever on the lower seatpost clamp (D) and align the saddle with the centerline of the bicycle (C)
  4. Close the seatpost clamp to lock the seatpost in place (A).

If you need additional height adjustment, you can raise/lower the lower seatpost. Repeat the above steps with the lower seatpost clamp (D)

Securely clamping the seatpost with a cam action retention device takes considerable force. To adjust the tension, open the lever, turn the tension nut clockwise to tighten, and then close the lever.
