All Levo SL HT Kids bikes are shipped with their motor assist speed restricted to 10 mph / 15 kph. This speed limit restriction can only be adjusted through an initial bike firmware update at retail, using a wired connection to Turbo Studio.

All other motor firmware parameters are identical to the Levo SL Gen2 motor firmware (peak performance, default Tune values, etc.)

Laws and regulations regarding the use of electric bicycles vary significantly by geographic area, even within a particular country or state. Prior to your purchase, in addition to making sure your child is ready to handle the added acceleration and weight an electric bike can provide, be sure to inform yourself of all applicable requirements and restrictions, including age-restrictions. Always wear a helmet and practice riding with your child in a controlled environment before going on their first ride.

MasterMind Turbo Connect Unit (TCU)

The Levo SL Kids is equipped with the MasterMind TCU, which is installed within the top tube and can be used to power the bike on and off. The MasterMind TCU has a customizable LCD display that shows speed, battery charge, mode, heart rate, and other settings.

To turn the bike motor on, push the power button. You can change support modes on the remote.

The MasterMind TCU uses different colors to indicate which support mode is in use:

Yellow: Turbo

Green: Trail

Blue: Eco

No color: Off

Pink: Smart Control

Light blue: Walk Assist

A: + and - buttons:

+ Button (top, facing rider)
- Tap: selects modes with more assist
- Long press: toggles standard modes or Micro Tune mode
- Button (bottom, facing rider)
- Tap: selects modes with less assist
- Long press: resets trip
+ and - buttons together long press: opens settings menu on MasterMind TCU

B: F1 and F2 buttons:

F1 Button (top of unit): Toggles different display menus on the MasterMind TCU
F2 Button (bottom of unit): Selects Walk Assist. Hold down to maintain motor operation at about 3 mph
