Fender Installation Instructions

Rear Fender

Attaching a rear fender to your bicycle requires an upper or lower fender mount attached to the seat tube. The size of your frame determines which fender mount your bicycle requires.

Sizes 44, 49, 53 use the upper mount (A) and sizes 54, 56, 58, 61, 64 use the lower mount (B)

  • Select the correct mounting clamp for your size frame (A) or (B).
  • Open the mounting clamp (A) or (B) and place it on the seat tube above or below the seatstay according to the size of your frame.
  • Insert the bolt (C) into the mounting clamp, then use a 4 mm hex key to gently tighten the bolt.
  • Assemble the fender (D) onto the fender mount, then adjust the position of the mount to fit the fender position. Using a torque wrench and 4 mm hex bit, torque the mount bolt (C) to specification stated on the clamp.

  • Behind the bottom bracket (E) and at the rear dropouts (F), there are M5 and M4 threaded frame inserts that can be used for mounting fender stays. Install the fender according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Front Fender

  • The fork dropouts (A) and behind the fork crown (B) have M5 threaded frame inserts that can be used for mounting fender stays. Install the fender according to the manufacturer's instructions.
