- The Roubaix has clearance for tires up to 700x33c. We recommend that you maintain 6mm of clearance between the fork, frame and tires to allow debris to pass through.
- The Roubaix is designed to use a conventional road 2x drivetrain for either electronic and mechanical shifting. The Roubaix is compatible with 1x drivetrains with a maximum front chainring size of 52T.
The Roubaix has a new S-Works Future Stem. This new stem was designed around Future Shock. This stem is not only for the Roubaix; it may also be used as an upgrade for Future Shock-equipped Diverge and Sirrus models. Note that the Future Stem is only for Future Shock-equipped models as the inner diameter is smaller than a conventional steerer. If a rider would like to use a standard stem, a shim is available, S199900023.

The new S-Works Future Stem also features an accessory mount compatible face plate, S199900064 & S219900020. This Future Stem face plate is compatible with current SL stems as well; note that the face plate has a satin finish while most SL stems are gloss.
The Roubaix has a new S-Works Pave seat post. This is a D-Shape seat post with new technology allowing us to provide the comfort of the CG-R seat post while keeping the shape of the D-Shape seat post. Bikes will be delivered with the 20mm setback version; a 0mm setback version is available as an AM part.

The new S-Works Pave Seat Post uses Tarmac SL6 Di2 battery mount, S186800006.
A new seat post wedge is used for the Roubaix, S199900021. The seatpost wedge is positioned inside the frame and is accessed by removing a rubber boot, S199900095. The adjustment fastener features a 4mm inside hex and a 8mm outside hex, which reduces the potential for failure due to a stripped head. S-Works models use a titanium bolt while all others use a steel bolt; only the Ti version is supported for service.
Maximum torque for the seat post wedge is: 55 in/lbs (6.2 Nm)
