Every Shiv Disc Tri comes with a Fit Kit including all lengths of Tower Studs, Stack Spacers and hardware.

Basebars attach directly to the fork using a wedge and spindle system.  Basebar spindles are available in two angles allowing the bars to be set at -20°, 0° and +20°. Rubber hoods cover the wedge spindle area and are also available in -20°, 0° and +20° to match the spindle setting.

Determine desired stack height prior to installing tower studs.  Reference the chart in the user manual to determine the proper length tower stud for the chosen stack spacer. 12-20mm of tower stud threads should be exposed above the stack spacer.  Spacers are keyed to fit only one way--be sure they are orientated properly.

Tower studs thread into the fork.  **Confirm proper orientation before applying torque! Tower studs have different thread pitches at each end**  The wrench flat and allen key broach should be facing down. It is normal that there is some resistance when threading in the tower studs. Refer to the Shiv Disc Quick Start Guide.

Tower spacers are available in five heights to allow for fine tuning of stack height.  Note that the tower spacers are keyed to fit only one way--be sure to confirm they are not installed upside down.

The extension socket installs on top of the stack spacers using two stud nuts.

The crossbar may be installed either in front of or behind the extension socket depending on the rider's desired reach.

Extensions mount through the extension socket and crossbar using a wedge.
