Q: Can I install a larger/smaller front chainring or larger/smaller rear sprockets?

A: Como SL 5.0

  • Smaller front chainring: The existing crank arm spider can accommodate front chainrings as small as 39t. The belt will need to be shorter (see the Gates calculator).

  • Smaller rear sprocket: Not compatible.
  • Larger rear sprocket: 24t sprocket will fit without changing belt length; rear fender will need adjustment with thinner spacers.
