Turbo Connect Unit (TCU)


The TCU has a backlit LED display. There are blue, green and red bars to indicate power mode, battery charge level, and error messages/notifications. 

TCU features:

  1. Change modes
  2. View battery charge level
  3. Turn bike on/off

Note: Bikes equipped with the original TCU are not compatible with the MasterMind TCU. Each of our Turbo bikes is designed to perform best with its original equipment. This is especially important for the control unit of the bike since it acts as the brain of the sophisticated e-system. If a TCU needs repair or replacement, please contact your Authorized Specialized Retailer for assistance.

Mastermind Turbo Connect Unit (Mastermind TCU)

The Mastermind TCU has a color display with customizable screens (through Mission Control app). The MasterMind TCU features the same power button as the TCU. You can change support modes on the remote.

The MasterMind TCU screen can be customized with the Mission Control app to display the following:

  • Power mode
  • Speed 
  • Distance
  • Ride time
  • Odometer
  • Cadence
  • Elevation gained
  • Heart rate (when paired with a heart rate monitor)
  • Battery level
  • Error messages and notifications

Mastermind TCD

The Mastermind TCD has a color display with customizable screens (through Mission Control app). You can turn on the bike with the power button on the MasterMind TCD. You can change support modes on the remote.

The MasterMind TCD screen can be customized with the Mission Control app to display the following:

The MasterMind TCDw, available on 2022 and later models of the Turbo Como, Vado, and Tero, enables you to charge external devices such as your mobile phone via the USB-C port on the TCDw. 

TCD

The TCD has a monochrome LCD display with customizable screens. The display connects via ANT+ to show all standard data of a bicycle computer plus Turbo-specific data such as remaining battery power %, rider power wattage, cadence, and selected assist mode. It even allows for connecting a heart rate monitor.
