Seatpost

The Levo is designed to use 34.9mm diameter seatposts.  Dropper seatposts are compatible and included with all models.

Fork Compatibility

160 mm front travel  (150 mm for S1)

Rear Shock Compatibility

All frame configurations use 8x20mm mounting hardware on the front of the frame and an open eyelet towards the rear of the frame.

  • 150 rear travel
  • 210x55 (metric)

We generally recommend using our custom-tuned default shocks. If you prefer to use an aftermarket coil shock, we have identified these to be compatible:

  • Öhlins TTX
  • Fox DHX (note that the DHX2 is not compatible)
  • 2023 RockShox Super Deluxe

Please note: Suspension on a bicycle is a complete system. Specialized frames are designed in conjunction with the shocks and supporting parts that come factory installed. While many aftermarket shocks (air or coil) may physically fit on the bike, they may not be compatible with the frame. Always check with the shock manufacturer to confirm compatibility with your specific frame before purchasing and installing a different shock than what was originally supplied with the bike or frame.

Drivetrain

All models use a 12 speed drivetrain with a single front chainring. 32t minimum and 34t maximum (with chainguide) or 36t maximum (without chainguide).

Derailleur hanger

All models use the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), S202600002. See the SRAM UDH Installation Manual for instructions.

Frames are compatible with either SRAM Transmission or standard drivetrains; however, a specific T-type chainring must be used that is compatible with the Turbo spider. Please contact an Authorized Specialized Retailer or Specialized Rider Care for assistance.

Grease should not be used on any part of the UDH.

Use caution when installing the UDH, the bolt is left hand threaded.  Avoid tightening the UDH bolt with a wheel is installed as this will increase the torque on the axle as well as the UDH bolt.

Rear rotor minimum of 180mm and maximum of 220mm

Tires & Wheels

All Levo models are compatible with 29" front wheels and 27.5" rear wheels only. Maximum rear tire width is 2.6".
