Motor
All Vado bikes feature the full power Turbo System, with a bottom bracket motor mount, fully integrated & lockable downtube battery, MasterMind TCD display, and handlebar remote.
- Vado 5.0 (IGH and standard): Specialized 2.2 motor provides 250 w nominal power and 4x rider power up to 560 w
- Vado 4.0: Specialized 2.0 motor provides 250 w nominal power and 3x rider power up to 470 w
- Vado 3.0 (IGH and standard): Specialized 2.0E motor provides 250 w nominal power and 3x rider power up to 430 w

MasterMind TCD
All Vado models are equipped with the MasterMind TCD and wired to a handlebar remote. The MasterMind TCD has a customizable LCD display that shows speed, battery charge, mode, heart rate, and other settings.
MasterMind TCD Display Options
- To turn the bike motor support on, push the power button until the screen turns on. You can adjust the level of motor support with the handlebar remote. To turn the bike off, push and hold the power button until the screen turns off.
- To navigate through the TCD menu and customize settings, press and hold the + and - buttons on the remote to open the menu.
- To unlock your bike without your phone, enter your lock PIN on the TCD using your remote. See Turbo System lock for more information on this feature.

Handlebar Remote
A: + and - buttons:
- + Button (top, facing rider)
- Tap: selects modes with more assist
- Press and hold: activates Walk Assist mode
- - Button (bottom, facing rider)
- Tap: selects modes with less assist
- Long press: resets trip
- + and - buttons together long press: opens settings menu on MasterMind TCD; use + and - buttons to navigate TCD menu
B: F1 and F2 buttons:
- F1 Button (top of unit): Toggles different display menus on the MasterMind TCD
- F2 Button (bottom of unit): Long press toggles standard mode and micro tune support
