The Future Shock 1.5 features a new spring to add performance and control. A new bottom-out bumper and top-out spring control the movement at the extremes. Booster springs are available for the Future Shock 1.5 so that riders can fine tune the performance to their riding style (S209900001).
The booster springs are color-coded by weight rating:
Blue | Soft for roughest terrain | 13lb |
---|---|---|
Black | Medium for mixed terrain | 25lb |
Yellow | Firm for smoothest terrain | 40lb |
Can I upgrade my Future Shock 1.5 to the 2.0?
Yes! See our Future Shock Retrofit Compatibility Technical Bulletin for instructions.
CAUTION: Top tube accessory bags that strap around the steerer tube below the stem are not compatible with a Future Shock damper, which is equipped on all models. Use of a strap around the boot of the Future Shock damper may damage the boot (S209900002), which will impair the waterproofness of the Future Shock.
Future Shock Service
